Honestly from my first two listens sort of feeling that tbh, it sounds cool but especially in comparison with Jaar's insane 2020 output this is lacking tbh. Hope it grows on me

Everything AAL last year (album and NTS Mix) was straight 10/10 imo, among the best s*** he's put out. The two ambient albums were both brilliant in different ways, strong 9/10s for me. Also the Rewire sets released this year are fantastic

This to me is a weak 7/10 so far, still cool but not quite amazing. But it's different strokes for different folks, I can respect that some just love this Darkside sound a lot

Album is really beautiful. Still can't believe this even exists. Don't think if it will top Psychic for me though. But this run Jaar is on is honestly insane.

Enjoyed it for sure, their first album is literally in my top 10 OAT tho so I'm completely chill with them releasing anything for the rest of their career, the closer is absolutely insane, The Limit feels like the perfect song to get people into Darkside, gonna relisten but it's great to have them back

I just found out the other day that he finally released the EMA score and I've had it playing non-stop. Instantly one of my favorites in recent memory. The textures and sonic atmosphere is simply magical.
