A MP4 teaser at E3 2020 or The Game Awards would be hype and appropriate. But I think it'd be wise to reintroduce the game when they have a full-blown trailer ready, as in some cutscenes + gameplay clips, something akin to the Metroid: Other M reveal trailer at E3 2009 (of course I'm not referring to the quality of the final product!). They can't just keep throwing teasers at us lol.

I'm predicting the Metroid focus this year finna be on the rumoured 2D Metroid game (and Trilogy HD lel).

With Retro still hiring key developers as recently as last week, MP4 will probably take a couple of more years in the oven; it might as well be Switch's swan song (or a Switch 2 launch title ).

as far as MP4 goes i think a lot of the actual fans of Metroid Prime would like to know the direction of the story and if that's all they gave us via cinematic trailer we'd be fine with it until more footage, preferably gameplay at TGA or in a late 2020 direct
