It’s true. The game has too many gimmick moves it’s not even enjoyable half the time.

I’m way better at Ultimate than Melee but I play both and it might be time to 100% just dedicate to Melee when I play Smash.

The only “out there” character in Brawl was Snake. Crazy how many degenerate mechanics the last two Smash Games added.

True but I think it would have to be Rockstar to chose to port the game not Take Two.

2k is porting a lot but Rockstar has only ported La Noire to my knowledge and I don’t really see that changing personally.

I wouldn’t buy GTA on Switch but I’m okay with it being ported, I just don’t think it will happen.

Take Two publicly stated they want Rockstar to put out more games, this is one way to do it. I'm optimistic.

I don't see a problem with PacMan, but characters that don't follow the fundamental moveset design like Ken and Ryu (and Hero) are kind of wack imo

If someone is able to beat you with gimmicks don’t be mad at the gimmick, adapt to it.

Hilarious considering Melee Fox is more broken than anyone in Ultimate

I’m not mad at losing, I’m mad at how hard the game is because you have to learn 75+ matchups and the gimmick ones feel impossible to learn when you have that many matchups. For casual play Ultimate is better but honestly Melee is probably the best competitively because it’s high level and you don’t have to worry about losing to “unknown matchups x,y,and z”

Melee Fox, wether more broken than Ultimate Pikachu or not, is a normal character with a normal moveset. Not a gimmick character and not degenerate.

And I’m not implying that Pikachu is degenerate

MKLeo got 3-0’d by BestNess’s Plant. The best player in the world lost to a low tier because it’s one of the least common matchups in tournament play and he didn’t know what to do against Plant.

Imagine wanting to limit movesets for “competitive play.” Hero is cool because he actually plays like a character straight out of a JRPG, as he should.

Yet a good Fox will beat anyone in Melee. Crazy how Ultimate is more balanced with over three times the roster.

So why does a Puff main Win most of the tournaments in Melee?

Ultimate is the most balanced but that doesn’t change that there is degenerate characters. I never said the jank was necessarily broken.

I believe Ness and Sans have my highest GSPs

I rarely use anyone else in Elite Smash. I switch it up in arenas though using Hero and Lucina as well.
