Mario Odyssey
BOTW
Animal Crossing
Mario Kart
Smash
Those are the 100% essentials (although not sure if AC will be your cup of tea or not but it’s safe to say a ton of people like it)
For other games I’d take with a grain of salt and do research to see if you’d like. Everyone recommended Luigis Mansion to me and I though it was ass and sold it.
Tbh I didn’t really like Luigis Mansion either. I mean, it is very charming and the graphics are absolutely gorgeous, one of the best looking games on the Switch imo - but gameplay wise it just didn’t stimulate me much.

They really need to come up with some new concepts to make Luigi’s Mansion more fun, just vacuuming ghosts gets repetitive super quickly
also i know we had the switch pro rumour every year but i wouldnt be surprised if they did it next year; new consoles are out and its been 4 years. this time they need to actually make the console capable of at least playing 1080. 4k i feel like is still so far away for nintendo

There's definitely been more fuel to the fire lately. I definitely think they will drop an enhanced version of the Switch sometime next year.
Buy a regular Switch. You’ll regret buying the Lite
I’m more of a casual gamer. I’m looking for something that is strictly portable. I don’t care for the docking.

Nintendo ain’t doing 4K until Playstation 6 drops tbh lmao

PlayStation 6 will shadow-drop tomorrow man ain’t you heard?
Thinking about getting a Switch Lite for Christmas. What games do you guys recommend?
I say start by looking into Zelda BotW, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Smash Bros Ultimate. All first party games but within different genres. Look up some trailers on YouTube and see if they interest you.
Never played Monster Hunter before but man I am very curious about MH Rise. I will probably pick it up when it drops in March. What about y’all?
I'm having a hard time getting into botw. What should I even be focusing on? The sand area divine beast is so hard lol

Switch pro late 2021 4k docked 1080p handheld
Switch pro late 2021 4k docked 1080p handheld
god if that were true it's gonna be an instant cop. I don't care about the price.....
but my minimum expectation is at least 1080p for most games.
the biggest issue really comes down to battery power. and cooling. this is a handheld. can't have people's hands frying playing 1080p Mario kart

but even when the current switch does get really hot from playing Witcher 3 at 1080p or whatever and then you pick it up and go handheld the joy-cons aren’t hot.
but yeah in terms of 4k docked, I bet they’ve spent the last 4 years engineering a better cooling system for this very reason
I think switch pro will come out when Metroid prime 4 comes out
it’ll be the “the game you want to play in 4k” that will attract the most people to upgrading or potentially to new buyers
no other game makes as much sense to warrant 4k
DESTROY GANON
COMPLETE!
Thank you for finally saving Hyrule AD3
Zelda been waiting 200 years for you dawg

Ganon was easier than I expected tbh, maybe because I’ve been trying to do hardest trial on the game for years lol
Now that’s out the way I can finally focus on AOC, I’M SO READY!!

Yeah he ain't that hard tbh. I think Lynels are harder haha. They are so doggone aggressive. Can't think of any monster in Zelda who is as fierce as the Lynel's in BotW.
Just beat fireblight Ganon, should I stop here or try to kill big Ganon now?
Don't stop til you get enough
the less you expect out of nintendo the better they just had the 30th anniversary of fire emblem (a game thats literally made hundreds of millions of sales and dollars) and all they did was a bum ass port of the '90 original. not even the ds remake
also if youre gonna pay full price for a nintendo game do yourself a fabor and get a game that you will actually play. i bought mario kart and smash for full price and i have only 40 hours on both after owning them for almost two years now. sure theyre fun but theyre also only games you either play on occasion or when people are over
