The creators of ATLA and George Lucas borrow from this heavily within their stories + both heavily have influences from eastern religions

It’s right up there with those shows you listed imo albeit through an all ages lenses in how it deals with its themes and subject matter

Yeah. I never felt bored and or felt that those episodes didn’t contribute anything to the characters focused on

Word word. I always think of filler as referring to the lack of main story development. I guess character development even smaller amounts does contribute to that.

people like to refer to The Fly episode from BB as filler but that definitely served to further add layers and character depth to those involved.

True. Hmm, I'm being kind of hypocritical here cause I constantly praise The Fly as being one of the best episodes in the series.

It's probably time for a rewatch because I'm def forgetting some smaller but key moments.
