How long is this series? Want to watch for nostalgia reasons but idk if i can manage to do it since i never watch series

too busy doing other things and when i do have the time i'd rather watch a movie than a series

It’s 60 episodes but they’re like 22 minutes each. You can watch the whole thing in a week if you spend a few hours a day on it.

Yeah but at the same time I like that it was separate stories because we got to see different villains.

But yeah I remember hearing that Korra was gonna get canceled. Also heard that Nick cut their budget too

Agreed with it being beneficial to the series, but that also was the beginning of the world building. I think it was easier to tie everything together like that when you don't have constraints to keep things different, but similar at the same time. With Korra they had to change up the narrative some so I'm not sure we would have seen it either way.

I watched Korra live and they actually only released Season 4 online...that's how bad Nickelodeon botched the handling.

Almost done season 1 on my rewatch -- Equalist was a nice blend with the city atmosphere

Yeah but like why. Know damn well you can’t tell that story in one season. Like did they not see the fan support coming? It’s the sequel to one of the most popular American cartoons ever.

They 100% should have green-lighted multiple seasons from the start. They really butchered the management side all the way through..also while only providing the 4th season online they cut the budget by one full episode.

I go back and forth on whether I like book 2 or 1 the most.

Book 3 is my least favorite, I think the beginning of book 3 is the worst part of the series when they're undercover and hiding. 2nd half it picks up tho

Everything in the early stages rn and corona most likely slowed a lot of things down. I’m skeptical about a live action series tho, feel like animation the best way to tell this story but the OG creators involved so I got some hope

i agree that the animated series is the best way to tell this story, though i think they can succeed where the movie failed, as they'll have more time for each story arc and establish their settings and characters, an opportunity they didnt have in the movie, though i did only watch 15 mins of it lol

you might not like the first half of book 2, but book 3 is definitely the best and worth at least watching up to
