Youre not wrong. Every time Aang was on screen I was hoping it'd cut to someone more interesting like Zuko or Katara or Toph or Iroh or Azula and her crew or the Kyoshi warriors or Boomy or Momo
Toph wasnt even in book 1
Lol
Niggas like Aang because they too just refuse to use their brains

Facts, aang ain’t even a top 3 character in the show
Ozai was giving Aang that work tho lol
Aang literally could've killed him in like 5 min he was just being a p****.

Exactly. Aang couldve killed him even before that episode
aangs issue wasn't whether or not he could beat Ozai it was whether or not he should murder him. His main issue isn't power levels like some bum ass DBZ character.
The problem is the choices he has to make. He chose to run away and it unfortunately allowed the Fire Nation to become what it was.
"Evil wins when good men do nothing" or whatever the quote is
So Aang is supposed to grow into a boy of action instead of staying comfortable and passive. His problem is that he has to preserve his moral fiber while it may cost even more lives.
Not killing Ozai works but him not coming up with the idea and having a lion turtle at the very last minute give him the answer is whack af.
Aang doesn't learn s*** or has to make any hard choices cause there will always be someone or something to give him the answer he needs
People complained about Korra knowing 3/4 of the elements already but act like Aang overcame anything "learning" the other 3.
Do yall remember him learning water? No cause that s*** was boring and if i recall it was easy.
Earth, Toph just kept telling him to stop being a p****
The only memorable one was fire and he only struggled because he was a p****, the dragon dance and Zukos arc also made it interesting.

"Korra had no room to grow as a person because she already learned 3 elements" - headasses
