Imma rewatch the entire series soon. Ngl kinda wanna skip TLA n just rewatch LOK.
Nah you gotta watch ATLA book 2 and 3 at least. Both are masterpieces
Book 1 can be skipped tbh

When I rewatch atla I just watch book 1 finale then jump to the episode where they meet Toph and go on from there lol
What did you think of the final “conflict”
Ehh I was enjoying S2 up until the last episode but they definitely fumbled the bag with that finale. Spirit Korra just didn’t make any sense, Raava existing within Unalaq after being destroyed didn’t make any sense, whatever tf Jinora did didn’t make any sense, Korra just casually being able to spirit bend Unalaq and Vaatu away didn’t make any sense, Korra reuniting with Raava but losing connection to the past Avatars didn’t make any sense.
Thus far it feels like LOK prioritizes blockbuster set-pieces and cool concepts above strong character writing, which is fine, but the writing was just too lazy in that finale for me.

The connection to the past avatars being broken filled me with such irrational rage bro
Watching these Kuvira fight scenes again
It would've been interesting to see her fight Unalaq

Season 3 makes up for all of this and does the exact opposite of your last criticism in your post
Season 4 is great as well

You gotta watch season 3. Awesome villain and an awesome team.

Sick, yea I’m 4 episodes into S3 right now and already enjoying it way more than S2. Zaheer and his gang were immediately engaging.

Cryin cuz i do this to
Book 1 of avatar has too much mid and its prob the hardest part of getting people into the show

When I first watched the show as a kid, I quit watching because season 1 was so boring to me and Aang was kinda annoying.
Then I caught a random episode with Toph in it and started watching it again lol
Zhu Li & Varrick a more earned couple then Asami & Korra.
His f***ing proposal was perfect
Legend of Korra finale mid tho. Feels like a incomplete show. But it continues through comics ? Lmao Nick really didn’t wanna support it anymore
Wow, just finished S3
now that’s how you do a season finale. Massively improved on every issue I had with S2. Truly competitive as the best season of either show. Zaheer and his squad were badass. The creators lowkey got away with a lot this season for a “kid’s” show, bunch of characters explicitly dying lol.
LOK ended up being much better than I thought. I had only watched the first season back then. My cousin and brother were watching it heavy back in the day and I stopped because I disliked Koraa. Season 3 is amazing, season 4 is horrible tho tbh
This remembrances episode of S4 is just straight up filler/recap 🤨 sucks that the show got shafted by Nick and hit with budget cuts. Its a crime that Nick shunned this to Nickelodeon.com during S3.
I’m enjoying S4 rn, but it definitely doesn’t feel like a finale season.

Cause the show was ass. Ratings were falling hard after season 1
Lmao the finale of S4 was really some Transformers/Avengers type s***
it was fun tho. Good season and generally great show. It isn’t the classic that TLA is, specifically the characters and arcs aren’t as powerful or memorable, but its a very cool expansion of the universe with a lot of great moments. Not sure why it gets as much hate as it does.
