still thinking about this video dude had like 40 chops for one loop lol

but I think it might have been a stutter/beat repeat effect or something over a simpler chop cause there's literally no way man

Nah he’s using a repeating melody in the back of the sample but taking chops from different parts in the song and playing them back to create that melody but with chops from all over the original song I think

Keeps it coherent while giving it that slightly disjointed feel

the 4:44 titular track sample is crazy cause you would've thought it was from like the 70s but its from a song a random artist released in like 2016, great sample ear and it's one of the best beats on the album

Wait, what? Was convinced it's a song from like the 60s

I never saw that track broken down before like that, that's way crazier than I imagined

yh thats what I meant I just thought it's wild that he fragmented the track that much for one loop

Some Nas Stans, who can’t let go of the beef, look at Jay using no id + a damian marley feature as another lap around the board collecting go. Another W for Nas as Hov keeps copyin him

Feel like this album pushed Kanye to do Daytona & KTSE. Very similar approaches

The video simplifies No IDs method when it came to 4:44.

As Jay said, he doesn’t understand how he did it but there is no 4 bar instrumental loop that repeats on the entire album. Listen to the project, when you think you hear a section repeated I promise there’s something there to switch it up. Crazy
