My first post was entirely on topic to what you’re saying then.

How will keeping rap in the good graces of billboard keep it from being de radicalized?

when you take the blackness out of literally any genre, it loses the spark that makes it popular.

Didn’t answer my question. If anything you’re contradicting your stance by saying that rap fell off because it isn’t in corporate hands anymore

hip hop is still the #1 genre btw it’s so sucessful that this board freaks out every week over the fact it doesn’t crush literally every other genre commercially anymore and acts like it has no new artists because the turnover rate went from 8x any other genre to 3x that s*** is not becoming unpopular lol

    Okay.

I'm not gonna say rap music is in the best place if you're a sales = quality propagandist. But changes to the chart algorithm is pretty important background information before declaring mainstream rap is dead forever.

Also like what yall realize this level of chart sucess has to do with crossover appeal right if ur at #1 it’s because gated communities bump ur s*** that don’t even know ur genre are h arguing that radicalism = more radio play and crossover appeal now?

literacy levels are at its highest it's ever been. attention spans are great. There's no anti-intelligence movement happening in this country. And music as a whole isn't being co-opted into a tool for fascist-capitalist tech-death squad sponsored by AI and cacs that wanna say nigga.

I also don't literally have an occupation teaching third graders and I'm actually bald too lmao.

yall got it. hip hop is great.

Trust me the charts are insane once you remove rules

Once again, these charts are corporately (and therefore, white!) controlled.
