Hip hop is dying and you’re still in fighting!
Personally I preferred hip-hop this year overall to the last couple.
Following the charts can be fun but ultimately don't really mean that much in the end, especially in 2025.
Jean Dawson was lit af and yall didn’t give a f*** about him
i love him but hes more in the r&b lane plus he pushing 30

We about to be hit with a list of BS
4th different thread of the day
First one I’ve actually been able to find discussing this coz the other three been locked and unlocked throughout the day
this year is so much better than that entire era man I thought ktt2 wanted creativity diversity, good rappers, room for old guys, independent artists, shifting of the old guard, and young artsy visionaries what happen
That guy’s a f***ing idiot and you shouldn’t agree with him. I can guarantee that he’s not judging the years on whether they have more of what he likes but rather less of what he doesn’t like.
I don’t know what his specific problem with 2019 is but we got Bandana, Eve, Grey Area, ZUU, Igor (might be controversial), etc. all that year. Sure, there might have been more albums they didn’t like taking up a lot of air, but there were just as many great releases as this year.
i like him but visionary?
I think so? Or at least vision-driven. How do you define it?

Jim Lxgacy album is great. It's like the versatility of xxxtentacion if he was actually good and not a terrible person

2019 was a good year there was something for everybody. Idk why people act like it was a down year
hip hop’s gonna be alright as long as we put Drake on every hook
