I liked this very much! Adam was great, but I was most taken aback by Scarlett Johansson's performance here. She didn't have as much material and her role wasn't as flashy as Adam's, but still left a big impression.
Much hyped fight scene near the end was great, but the scene that stuck with me the most was the one that happens like 30 min into the movie, where Scarlett's character is talking to her lawyer about Charlie.
Seeing Ray Liotta walk down the court halls
That’s when we knew the gloves were coming off and this was gonna get messy
Nobody gonna mention how beautifully shot this is I see

Its sooo f***ing pretty, that opening sequence where it’s just music
Spike Jonze did this better in Her using 2 montages and an Arcade Fire score

When she’s first explaining her situation to the lawyer her facial expressions were phenomenal
That argument scene is still on my mind
When Charlie said you robbed my 20’s, I felt that s*** in the deepest pits of my soul
Movie was mediocre af
Liotta, Dern and Driver were all great though.
Scar Jo had a stand out performance

When he said he wishes she would die I started tearing up such a good depiction of a nasty argument

Showcasing the end of a marriage. I just personally felt more impacted and connected to the relationship in Her - I think the writing and music helped a lot along with the incredible acting.
Not that I don’t like Noah’s writing because The M Stories was one of the most surprisingly good movies I saw this year.
Netflix really marketing this movie as “a celebration of love”
