Lmao so no one itt watched it live?

Almost done with my rewatch before starting the new season.

Season 1 is so thrilling and tightly plotted. Lester and Malvo are still two of the shows best characters by far. Lester’s arc might be my favorite plotline of the series other than the destruction of the Gerhardts. 9/10

Season 2 is a pure masterpiece. Visually beautiful, all the characters are unique and interesting, the themes hit hard, and all of pieces fall into place in a way that’s both totally unpredictable but makes sense. The best season. 10/10

Season 3 is great, but my least favorite. It might be both the funniest and darkest season, which I love. It should’ve been more focused though, and I didn’t find myself attached to any of the characters quite as much as the first two seasons. Still really well made and pretty interesting with a really strong atmosphere. 8/10

Do I have to watch the movie or other seasons to watch season 4? Tryna see Chris win an Emmy.

Probably don't HAVE to as all the seasons are technically standalone stories but they also have some small details that connect them all...season 4 takes place largely in the 50's which is long before the previous seasons but there still may be some threads that connect it to those stories by the time it's over...you'll probably appreciate more of the quirkier details and references if you watch those first

First 2 eps were fire. This season is gonna be straight chaos like how s2 was I can already tell.

I can only hope it gets to the heights of season 2...so far s2 hooked me right away whereas s4 is taking a little more time which is how I felt about s3 initially...while s3 did pick up quite a bit towards the end it still was my least favorite season so hoping 4 at least tops that...great cast to work with

y'all think Satchel (Cannon's son) may turn out to be Mike Milligan? Or at least Mike Milligan's father perhaps? I mean Rabbi Milligan has taken him under his wing so it's entirely possible s*** goes down and Satchel adopts an alias to keep moving through the Kansas City mob but considering this takes place in the 50's idk if that adds up with Mike's age in s2 (though it was never really specified he didn't look over 50)...either way it's an interesting theory I've seen brought up and every season so far has had some connection with the others (usually the deaf hitman though idk how he'd be able to appear in s4 unless they were to do a time jump)

I’m in a discord w someone who’s watched the entire season already cause he writes reviews for complex or some s\*\*\* and I brought up the mike/satchel theory and he said it’s def true and that this isn’t a spoiler because Hawley made it clear upfront.. and also that there’s a very special ep involving satchel later on

season 2 so so masterful
