Who's who b? I thought that it was 1 Noel that engineered, mixed and produced lmao
this apparently gadget, he mixes
he's 40 teacher and mentor, one of the greatest Canadian engineers ever
You can check tidal credits to see who does everything. Not all songs are done by the same engineer.
before any album gets dropped, gadget does the final mixing
So noel cadastre = noel ref who records drake and produces some beats
Noel Gadget = who mixes the ovo albums with 40?

yes, basically.
Cadastre — Drake’s now full time engineer after 40 stepped back, part-time producer, 🦉
Gadget — handles final mix of Drake’s albums alongside 40 and 40’s mentor

Just checked the credits for scorpion and take care. 40 plays multiple roles (obviously): he produces, is a recording engineer and mixes.
Noel Ref and/or 40 are usually the recording engineers. But Noel Ref also started producing beats
Noel Gadget does the (final) mixing

What does an engineer do?
What does an engineer do?
record and track Drake’s vocals, stack his vocals, make sure the audio is A1, etc. simply put, basically responsible for the tech part of each recording session. They wear many hats in the studio.
But Im sure the audiophiles and music techies here can explain it alot better than I can

Not just Drake. Name any canadian rapper and Gadget has prolly worked on their tunes. Absolute legend.
Gadget's the one who took 40 under his wing and taught him a few things about mixing and recording
Interesting thread
