since Take Care from what I can see on the credits. Dont see his name on So Far Gone and TML. Since Take Care, Drake's mixing is (mostly I guess, havent checked EVERY track) done by either Gadget, 40 or both depending on the track. Gadget also mixes most of the other OVO projects. I just noticed that Alex Tumay did Partymobile instead of Gadget, probably why it didnt sound as good

yup for real. Noel Cadastre/Ref been Drake's recording engineer since 2010 from what I can see on the credits if not earlier. he started out as 40's assistent but been the full-time engineer since 40 cant be with drake every day anymore.

To my knowledge,

Cadastre does the recording portion of engineering for drake. This was 40's job when he was still doing tours and s*** with drake.

Gadget is a mixing engineer, who is a legend in his own right who was added to the team. I'm not sure how drake's mixing process works but this role can vary a lot in terms of what they do to a track.

engineers when it comes to music can have a lot of varying roles, it could be mixing, it could be mastering, it could be production changes, it would be scoring. Theres I'm sure an endless amount of positions when it comes to professionally recording music and being an engineer.
