She said to be pro black which is anti capitalist how tf you gonna be anti capitalist when you use capitalism to be successful. I also don’t get how pro black is anti capitalist?

Capitalism uses any force or system to push others down to push yourself up. Racism literally was the fuel source for the captilism used in slavery south...

Agreed, she’s become a bit of a capitalist scapegoat for some reason. I wonder if it’s because she has such a vocal white audience too, I mean s*** like this doesn’t help:

Combined with working with Disney on big budget blockbusters and stuff like that, maybe she seems more of a capitalist figure than others. But once again that case could be made for THOUSANDS of different people, the hyper focus on Jay and Beyonce is bizarre.

The Beyhive can be doing the most, just like every fanbase ever.
I think Noname loves the attention she has been getting lately.

  • Jun 28, 2020

That is true but she is popular because of her success as an artist, which allowed her to do shows which increased her popularity which is all part of a system that allows her to profit off of other people. And now people listen to her because of this. She has a service people are willing to pay for and it allowed her to become popular. It's weird for me she ignores everything she has gained from capitalism. There's no middle ground when it comes to her. It's all or nothing and things aren't that binary in the real world

Flattening identity into "black" is lazy and problematic in itself.

There's a good argument that racialism was used more in the jim crow era. The antebellum south just assumed hierarchy largely using religion as opposed to scientism.

Yeah but that s*** doesn't wash away from 400+ years of colonialism and destruction of various races. S*** native Americans literally had to get a hand out from the government to even just get casinos and their land back. They're still one of the poorer races in this country

Lmao yeah I did. I took apush American history and saw what people do under capitalism and communism. Capitalism isn't peachy as everyone thinks to seem. USA bastsdrized it and used it to rule the world. At least Europe is a lil moderate with it.

Terrible working conditions and colonialism were also done by Europeans though
