I think Bey means no harm by BIK, I just thinl Africans are fed up with Americans telling their story or giving off this image of Africa that may not be true. They call it "Wakandaism" or something like that now. I think Bey's vision is perfect, and she did use a ton of African dancers, writers, producers across the continent. I think they just want one of their own to do all this stuff.
I promise you we don’t think this. Your a great poster tho so I know this post is from a good place, but the vast majority of Africans have no problem with their continent being glorified.

yes but if you were to try to buy those in those environments they would costs literally 100k's. the fact they are affordable and easily available was due to capitalism. not to mention Johann Philipp Reis & bell would've still invented the telephone independently. So socialism wasn't even needed
