The race s*** is so f***ing draining at this point, it's all anyone wants to talk about.
I'm fine with talking about racism if we can actually offer some solutions to it and if racists were actually willing to accept the reality of it, but most people will either write essays about it that won't change racists' minds, or someone says something racist and deflects when called out on it, or defends some racist behavior.
Tbh as real as racism and systemic oppression are, I definitely feel like the powers that be use that to keep us distracted and fighting among each other so they can do whatever it is they want discreetly imo.

Definitely is a distraction but I can’t take seeing some of the racist stuff people defend. Then they flip it to make it seem like we’re crazy for saying it’s around.
