almost forgot my queen fiona

listened to bolt cutters on repeat this week. the animal noises and sounds they recorded around her house are genius. tasteful without being gimmicky. hard to be a gimmick when her songwriting is just too genius. i truly think she’s the best songwriter of our time, we’re far too privileged to have her making music this good this far in her career.

crazy to think she really started at 18 in the 90’s with an instant classic. not a lot of young songwriters from that era can say that

yup she’s brilliant

wild how this is only her fifth album, i think it may end up being my fave of them all

the musicianship is just amazing and i notice new details every time i listen

tbh there all so solid, i’m not sure if i have a favorite. i listen to them all equally. it took a while for idler wheel to click tho

funny enough idler wheel was my intro to her and i wasnt super into it, but when the pawn totally got me hooked and now i love all of them

tidal was my intro and it was instantly perfect in my eyes. but when the pawn cemented it for me too. too many classics

The only new albums I’ve heard all the way through outside of rap this year are the weeknd and thundercat. Both great albums, but there’s been way too much good rap music this year
