I think is a reflection on how bad music journalism is in 2021. The fact that somebody receives this honor from Billboard and not one single publication from Complex to Pitchfork to Fader has anything about it is crazy to me. The only headlines and story’s are about his son crying, not about the actual accomplishment and the magnitude of it. Really bizarre to me.

Way more relevant than the Grammy’s for me. They care about the numbers and actually appreciate the artist more than I think the Grammy’s ever could. In my opinion of course granted Billboard isn’t perfect either no award show really is.

This is what I was saying and stans got mad. Man I really didn't want to believe what ppl from the outside was saying about his fans and every artist has their fair share of crazies but they are delusional. It's a nice award but it isn't some huge thing. In the grand scheme of things a grammy matters more and he has plenty. He didn't need to make this some big thing.
