good music is subjective, but id rather listen to the opinion of someone who is very open minded about music, has studied the history of the artform, is knowledgeable about the process behind it over someone who just go to a club where they can barely hear the song anyway and say "its hard" when the bass knock.

end of the day, only person I am going to truly trust is myself but I take more stock in the opinions of critics and music historians than general audiences. Grammys got a lotta s*** takes for sure, but ultimately compare their picks to what charts, and it s***s on billboard charting music for the most part.
