Where all this WIZRD praise come from?

So did you skim through the entire album how you did the intro?

    Basically

OP is right. Anyone saying otherwise needs to hold Future to a higher standard.

Pitchfork said it's a 7.1 so how bout that.

Straight facts for the most part

I enjoyed the album in an overall sense but it's such a nothing in the grand scheme of his legacy, especially coming off such a spectacular 2019.
I really think something happened between Save Me and HOL in terms of the material he was planning to release. Something just seems to be missing.

Save Me came out, and Sony's press release for that straight up said that there was another release waiting in the wings before the end of 2019.
Then singles start rolling out eventually (My Name, 100 Shooters) and we start hearing of a new FBG comp album that they would have fit on.

Nothing happens for a while, the Life Is Good drops and we discover this is the title track off his upcoming album, but suddenly we don't hear anything again for a bit... Tycoon eventually drops but it's still radio silence...

Then out of the blue he just suddenly announces High Off Life and it drops like several days later with little fanfare? Not only that but the 5 tracks he'd released over the last 6 months or whatever are all just chucked onto the end like some weird bonus tracks?

I dunno man it feels like we're missing part of the story here.

All very good points, the whole album is sorta offset by the placement of the bonus tracks

Perhaps it was fuelled by The WIZRD's & SAVE ME's commercial under-performance

Plus I feel like he felt that he had to capitalise on the commercial success of Life is Good and that's what drove the album out the gate before it could really resemble a cohesive project
