People did the same with adele. Mental illness tbh
Damned of you do, damned if you don't.
What’s interesting is this whole movement is more used by women for the wrong reasons than men
A fat man is never gonna get the level of support women are on Twitter for being fat. No one is gonna hoodwink women into wanting a fat man and society isn’t gonna cuddle him into thinking he’s fine just the way he is.
He’s expected to get his ass in a gym and on a diet (rightfully so) and build the body he wants
I don't think woman care about men like that as much as men imo, I know a few fairly overweight men in my school that have pretty decent girlfriends, I think confidence is the big thing.
There’s truth to this tho, I know it seems silly but the dietician she’s promoting is probably a snake oil salesman. All the extra stuff is dumb and Hollywood, it’s not that complicated to eat better and exercise, these overboard “detox cleanse” things are questionable and not for everyone
It’s Hollywood fam. It’s their business to look good. Lizzo is a performer who gets tired while performing. If she lost weight she could perform better. It’s simple economics.

Of course, she’s promoting it for regular people tho which I can see how people might not like that. Some of these diets ain’t the move

Tbh people shouldn’t be taking their dieting advice from Lizzo in the first place it’s not like she came up in the health scene she was always a singer
It's the media that portrays it that way, the more things change the more stereotypes emerge
Idk I feel like it’s the culture in general maybe it’s the media that caused the switch, initially it was just normal people who were just built different and even tho some of em were a lil overweight it was still okay they were just regular ass people but as time went on I started seeing more of those Tess holiday types of people showing up and then causing a scene when people said they were actually unhealthy

Also true
Being a p**** about everything is a slippery slope. If you overly sensitive about one thing, and look at this and think they’re wylin it’s a lil ironic
If she losing weight I respect her
Fatties are lazy pieces of trash!!
Winston Churchill was fat
Not gonna s*** on my big girls though that’s lame
shoutout all my FAT B****ES !!! 💯
being so "woke" that you shame women for wanting to not be fat of course it's some dumb ass "BLM she/her feminist" twitter bio s***

The thing that sucks about this whole thing, is that you don't know what is going on in their lives. Unfortunately, it's a terrible situation, especially from someone like me with a thyroid disease. You don't even need to look super model like, it's all about what you are presenting to your audience. The influence you have can literally change people's habits, and in this case scenario, it can encourage health risks. I can say after her trying to diet, I can say that she stood up for the movement in a respectable way, saying that you can be confident no matter the weight, but then also saying listen I need to change cause this also makes me sad and unhealthy.

People just hate hypocrites.
You can't be out here talking all that body positive/I love my body/I don't need to change my body I'm healthy type stuff and then do the exact opposite.
Didn't folks even go at Jillian Michaels just for saying the truth about that stuff earlier this year?

Yeah definitely I feel like everyone turning on lizzo is some bullshit just because she decided to make some changes , it’s not like she immediately went back on everything

I'm not sure what world you live in where "I love my body" means that you can never want to change yourself in any way shape or form
only absolute loser hos who don’t get any guys so they spend all their time complaining about how they should be entitled for constant praise for never eating a salad and going on a jog are mad at this
Obesity is a disease
