    How do the squatters get keys?

    They just call a locksmith and have them change all the locks after breaking in?

    people often just leave their doors and windows unlocked. you can't claim squatters rights if you break and enter.

    Squatters rights in some spots are wild. They damn near have more rights than the property owners half the time in certain states.

    there's 100000 homeless people in NYC and about 1 billion homeless people worldwide. squatters rights are an imperfect system that allows people to occupy unoccupied shelters so that they dont, you know, die on the street. if you dont like it, organize for a system of universal public housing.

    yeah instead of spending money on wars they should offer affordable housing and public services not allowing people to protect their own property is obscene

    They had no lease. Also the court system is gonna take probably 2 years to resolve

    when I first saw this I literally assumed these niggas was just coming up to just...chill in this b**** home

    BUT knowing she was in fact selling it, does lighten the load a LOT. Nobody was occupying it. Why tf would she put a lock on the door if she wasn't living in it?
