rpg. pretty fun too
Ok so this might be something ya'll know about, but i feel the need to signal boos this franchise wherever I go in the wired.
This is GRAVITY RUSH.
A set of two games released for the PS Vita and PS4, it's a game all about falling gracefully. The core gameplay mechanic that carries everything is the main character Kat's ability to shift and manipulate gravity in any direction she wants.
If you look up gameplay videos, it might look like a graceful superhero girl flying through a city, but in all reality the gravity shifting is very kinetic and takes a good deal of practice to pull off. Also, I will say, this game actually has a pretty entertaining story and cast of characters, and a fantastic OST by the great Kohei Tanaka. The world is interesting, the lore is interesting, and the gameplay is very satisfying once you get in the groove.
Unfortunately the possibility of a follow up game is almost all but gone with the closure of Japan Studios. (F you for that Sony) But, as it is, Gravity Rush 1 and 2 are some of my favorite PS exclusives.
