That complaint is beyond me. Not sure why a debut would need to be something more than this is.

They're 21 good tracks packaged together, only two of which have been out previously. And from my first two listens I never gauged that any felt thematically out of place.

Plus the whole point of the title is that yeah he didn't just wanna drop music during these past years for the sake of it.

Also this is a guy that's been making music for over a decade at this point. The term debut seems pretty irrelevant. It's not even a major label or anything. It's just literally distribution via backwoodz.

Yeah I wouldn’t be complaining if there were actually 21 good tracks.

Maybe I feel a way because there’s no Iman for the first time in a decade. But most of these songs feel half finished. Not even going to go into the features

i was checking the production credits on my first listen because i was surprised as well, especially with some of these beats sounding very iman-like

and that fact hindered me from enjoying it as much as i should've lmao

great album as i've learned from my second listen

Cav sounds pretty hungry actually and i wouldn't even call any song filler

definitely one of my highlights this year so far

  • Kronos Quartet collaborating with Armand Hammer and RP Boo for a Sun Ra cover 😱

Moor Mother and DJ Haram on the album as well

  • Backwoodz running the rap game

  • woods feature on the Lukah x Real Bad Man tape, he shredded that s*** as per usual
