Being a massive Ka fan, what’s your thoughts on GZA? You heard his best albums? Liquid swords, Grandmasters and legend of the liquid sword?

He’s one of those ones I respect and whose greatness I realize, but who I’ve only listened to a handful of times. Heard Liquid Swords, and didn’t love it but Grandmasters I loved. Again, I’ve only listened to those records maybe once or twice each, but then again Clientele grew on me

I know that was prolly sacrilege, but I feel like at my age—22–it’s reasonable to not be up on/in love w the early classics

Trust me bro liquid sword is the quintessential grower, one of my favourite albums of all time, plus his influence on Ka is undeniable. Even when you compare what we’ve been talking about, album art. You think it’s a coincidence Ka has an album cover with a chess board and an album with a samurai influence? Grandmasters is based around chess, then you have liquid swords. Also I’m pretty sure Ka’s introduction to the “mainstream” was on
Pro tools, defiantly the first time I heard him was on the “firehouse” track on there (I think that was the name of it), Roc Marci was also on the same album. GZA is that dude

Yeah bro I had 2 transplants actually.

First one about 2-3 years ago, result turned out great tbh I could go on and on about all the benefits. People can't tell that I had anything done and the best thing is they always react surprised when I tell my age.

And a couple weeks ago I did a little touch up, going through the whole recovery process atm - it was a spontaneous decision but I'm very happy with it.

A small local clinic in my area, they don't even have a world class name but my result is apparently on par with the best of Turkey or whatever so I didn't even have to travel.

Btw everyone but me says it's a painless and easy procedure, for me it was painful af, I definitely wasn't ready

Been listening to some of ELUCID's EPs a lot recently. Really interesting projects. Highly recommend checking out 'Osage' on Bandcamp if you aint heard it. That one is more conventional, couple woods features on it too. And if in a more experimental mood check out 'Seership!'. That one is wildly unsettling.
