Faithful tithing ten percent
Prophesied, I wouldn't rumba with the reaper
My brother's keeper, a chosen child amongst the people
Arbitrary evils, force lethal
What isn't, isn't legal
Hard to hear the trumpet
I'm a deep sleeper
That’s my f***in 🐐
Chimney wasn’t my favorite Mach feature at all
But Carnies
I’m fine w just Earl tbh. Hope he redeems that short Ramesses verse
chimney was hard to me i love the hov interpolation

Yeah I fw Chimney. That whole track is hard as hell. And its just nice to hear Mach flowing even if his verse doesnt completely match the tone of the track.
This is honestly insane the more I think about it. Both ELUCID and woods with about two decades in the game, majority of their releases independent and often underappreciated. All the while just getting better and better. And now teaming up with Alchemist for a full length when he too is at the peak of his professional and creative standing. Must be a crazy feeling for them. Dunno how woods held his tongue everytime anyone asked him about Giraffe Hunts in interviews.
At first I was slightly sad we weren't gonna get any beats from Messiah and the rest. But Al really does excel at tailoring a beat to a specific artist. Mtomb, E Coli, Neverending Story, Giraffe Hunts, Grey October, etc. Cant wait for what he's cooked up for them. That title and cover just has me more hype too. And those features

It actually grew on me a lot more recently. Smooth ass rhyming and interesting bars as usual, just a bit slower than preferred for Mach

Thank you for saying this
This is a massive milestone for modern underground rap. These dudes have been turning out CRAZY albums for years, and Alc’s just further cementing his legend with this collab. So excited for this.
Also, seeing what The Price of Tea did for Boldy and what Bandana did for Freddie got me mad excited for woods and Elucid. Dudes are already underground legends but it’d be dope to see them get Gibbs or Boldy-level buzz.
Gonna be amazing to see what they cook up. Cannot wait to hear it
Bro Fr, I’m still shocked lol

Man no doubt, Woods and Elucid just seem to keep getting better and better, and man so does Alc. It’s damn good seeing the underground thrive and get more and more recognition, bc it’s pure art.

Facts. It’s a beautiful thing to witness. And this description
This isn’t just the genre’s most insistent contemporary voices paired with arguably its best producer. This is when you buy a beautiful house only to discover, hidden behind a heavy bookcase, a stairway twisting up and away into the darkness.
Aight ima change this to the Armand Hammer thread and just post Backwoodz links in here
I feel like billy woods' discog is the closest thing we might have to a jazz discography in hip-hop, where every album is beyond fantastic and there isn't a strong be-all-end-all project for him. you gotta listen to everything. The Roots might come close too but they're a full-fledged band against a one-man operation
This s*** is about to be insane. I never expected a collab like this and it’s just a huge win for everyone involved. Al’s production catalog is just insane at this point. The amount of work he’s put in for so long with all these legends
