Maybe if you only started listening to Blu in the past 5 years.
nah is a good take
As in a rating? 6.5/10. It was fine, probably won’t come back to it though
bro samples used alone are just too amazing to be that low

Samples we’re the best thing about it tbh. I’m just sick of how many times he uses blu in songs. Imagine if jay z made a whole album about the letter J

Brudda tried to tell me the new project can top this. This is the Blu I grew up on.
!https://youtu.be/snEYtHC9UmA!https://youtu.be/DwqaoYzJOvYWe'll see as time goes on but this is the Blu I grew up on too.
I hadn't even gotten to Below the Heavens yet. Just those Godlee Barnes loosies and the first two Soul Amazing mixtapes. That 09-11 era was so special.
I just heard the album again today. It just might be one of his best albums period.

Get this gate keeping petty mentality outta here

Be quiet. I'm talking facts. Blu was flawless for the for a solid 10 years, but his new stuff doesn't compare to his old stuff.

Bro you're spilling right now. This song isn't even mastered properly but I used to listen to this song and dream about the world and LA. Early Blu was incredible.

Still makes great music, it’s okay to like his old stuff more too. To act like he’s not making some special s*** rn is close minded though.
Ppl comparing new Blu to old Blu itt we should just be grateful this man going through two primes on some lebron s***
I've been listening to Blu since Below The Heavens, to Noyork, to the Jesus EP. He was my favourite rapper for probably 10 years. In the past few years I fell back from him. It's like he can rap but I don't feel his new music anymore.
I listened to this album and nothing touched me. I thought even that last collab with Exile was wack. It sounds very dated and stale. I'll still love him for his early work.
Miles is cool but I agree. His rhyming/writing has gotten really simple now, like 123 ABC rhyming and his delivery isn't smooth anymore.
I've been feeling the same as you but didn't wanna come in here with negativity and speak ill of a black man tryna eat. I know how hard it is to make money in this rap game. I'm just glad that he's still making music and that it's resonating with someone even if I don't enjoy the new music.
Old Blu was legendary.

His writing's still great besides those weird list songs at the back quarter of miles imo - I do agree that his flow has gotten less smooth tho which is my biggest problem with his EP's (besides the Damu the Fudgemunk one) and with that collab album with Oh No but it worked for me on most of Miles and this album so idk
Is the anniversary edition of Bad neighbor so different from the OG version? I know the track listing is different and they took some songs off but that’s all I can tell
