I captioned a lil bit of Charles opening:
"I uh, did some stupid s***, you know, facing the consequences. You know, I never thought anybody would want me like me anyway but, your mind is faster than your brain use your brain to know right from wrong.
I lost my mind, you know. Face the consequences. sometimes it's hard to do the time but I did the crime so here I am.
I still stand by everything I ever done or said. If I ever told ya'll I love you I meant it. If I ever helped you out I meant it. Want nothing from it."
Damn
Does anyone know the Charles Hamilton song that samples that one foo fighters song
Breath out so I can breath you in
Please
I’m pretty sure it was on the TWA mixtapes but I can’t find anywhere to stream them
yeah i turn 20 in 2 months, its crazy listening to charles old s*** where he mentions his age, he was so prolific so early, feel like i aint s*** in comparison lol
Charles been through a lot of s***. If you look at a lot of prodigies in sports and music etc. They went through a lot of s*** as kids that made them work hard at their passion, usually as an escape.
Us normal folk can be as good but it'll take more time. Just gotta focus and work towards your goals. Early 20s is still very young, we got time
Still disappointed that CH did what we did. But it is what it is. I'm still gonna rock with Charles and I wish him the best...much love ya'll

I think most people who have stuck by Charles will stick with him through this. I really do just hope that this will be the catalyst for him to get some help. Forget his career as a rapper, 34 is young as hell and he still has a whole life ahead of him and it's not healthy for him to continue the way he has.
On an unrelated note, can we get a general thread for the blog era going? Man such an underrated and forgotten period in hip hop yet produced so much great music.
09 Freshman Class easily the best one to date and the only one whose roster I listen to without miss.
Asher
Blu
B.o.B
Charles
Curren$y
Mickey
Wale
Vizzy should've been on there too
Also can't forget the other Blog Era legends that didn't make the list like Cool Kids
Man I was a Freshman in HS when that released.
good times, The Cool Kids, UNI etc. Lupe.

The folder said it was last modified June 1st of this year
which is 5 days before he dropped Enemy
(which is part of The Innocent Devil series (feat. Villain, Enemy, Defendant, and B****)
I didn't know Charles dropped Defendant. Where did you find this
Where can I find information on his booking?
I use "Find an Inmate" under "Information" in the "Resources" tab @ lasd.org

There was a "Started From The Bottom" freestyle
That was recorded at a library
it was called straight 2 da top according to the SoundCloud link
(Unfortunately the song and the profile that had it are no longer available)
(I still feel like there was another song that was recorded in a library but I'm not sure)
