Stupid, lazy comps tbh. When you hear Ryan Day, one of the most respected QB whisperers in the country rave about this man non-stop, you know it’s different.

When Day talked about Haskins, he was frank that he really wasn’t totally ready for the next level.

Fields literally was #1 in air yards in CFB which is a testament to how hyper accurate his deep ball is, he has elite athleticism and is great at reading through his progressions.

Sorry this was a long rant but I’m so hype he dropped to y’all cus you’re defense with a real vertical passing game is gonna be a huge recipe for success.

He does occasionally stare down his receiver and hold onto the ball too long (partly because he tries to let deep routes develop). But those are small things that even Deshaun struggled with at Clemson.
