RoyalSavantCoinbase is an exchange so when you purchase Bitcoin through them and leave them there, they technically own your keys. In order for you to have control over your keys you have to move them to cold storage, I personally use Ledger but there are other ways of doing it. It’s practically a digital wallet

Start with index funds and exchange traded funds if youre investing long term. Not as sexy as individual stocks, but not as volatile

Most stocks, in the long run, will almost definitely go up from where they are rn.
They will probably go down in the short term though. With the virus getting worse and the economy becoming more uncertain, we will likely see a decline in the near future for most stocks. Also the stock market seems to like Donald Trump, and his re-election prospects getting worse also points to a slower increase over time.
Some stocks that have been positively affected by the virus ATM are tech stocks (Apple, Amazon, Netflix, zoom, Microsoft) because they benefit from people staying home. But once the virus is over, it’s uncertain if they will drop back to pre-virus levels or continue to accelerate.
Personally I’d wait and keep an eye on certain stocks to see if they seem to be trending downwards or upwards. You want to buy when it’s as low as you think they’ll go, and sell when it’s as high as you think they’ll go.

Really great points in this post.
I’d advise sitting out until after this election if your not in already. Trump has done a lot to let companies flourish since his election, but Biden wants to raise corporate taxes back up.
Also unemployment benefits run out at the end of July correct? And trump said last week that he will cut funding to schools that don’t re-open in the fall (idk if he can do that).
A lot of uncertainty right now, and if you look at a majority of the market, it’s been frozen for about 3 weeks aside from Apple, Microsoft, Tesla etc.... major dip probably awaits but who knows.
Not a pro either just adding my 2 cents.
