If I purchase shares for something right now, what happens when stocks open up on Monday? Do I get them at the current price? Still tryna figure out how everything works.

No you won’t get them at the current price, you will get them at the open price. (Prob won’t be much different tho)

Normal stocks - no. With CNBC confirming this s*** on air yesterday though, FOMO of thousands or even millions more into it Monday morning will likely have pushed us up a bunch especially with overseas markets opening before us. Either way, just use limit buy orders so you can set it it to only buy at whatever price or lower. Get GME too though
