Jul 28, 2021·1 replyBEE 2000yea and bogle's book mentions bonds, but he mentioned in a few interviews prior to his death that he no longer recommends that obviously. not really profitable with modern monetary policy.
ive looked at the bogleheads forum, i check in on it every once in a while.
I think bond etfs/funds still have a place for older clients to mitigate risk and do better than cash (over 10 year periods)
My main issue with Bogle was his disinterest in international markets ( buy 40% of US revenues fo come from overseas)
I think Intl and EM are nice to have, especially during historical discounts (rn)
