Coinbase says I owe them money I can't withdraw or deposit anything into my account

I'd just be out the $50 for gas in your example

So, I’ve tried to buy some Cardano during today’s dip, however the transaction didn’t/wouldn’t go through as Coinbase crashed.

No problem, these things happen.

However, now my app has a message saying the following:

“Payment Required We couldn’t collect funds for one or more of your recent purchases. Please make a payment now.”

Then, once I click on the “Make Payment” link, it takes me through to another message that reads:

“Your Recent Purchase Failed Until you make a payment, you cannot trade or cash out any funds.

If you don’t make a payment within 5 business days of payment failure, we’ll make a payment on your behalf by selling some of your crypto.”

Is this for real?! I didn’t receive any crypto, so why am I being asked to pay up?! I’m really scared, I know how long Coinbase take to respond to cases and in those 5 days I could lose a lot of money that I need.

Please help :(

kick rocks with the sanctimonious bs. I use multiple exchanges, and I don’t keep all my coins on CB. After I bought some more coins on Friday, that’s when s*** went buggy and I couldn’t withdraw or deposit afterwards.
