Like I said nothing special. I will give Em this though, he had a decent little flow & lyrically he was alright when he first came out. But he was marketed as this "Great White Hope" and the music didn't add up to all the hype his was getting.

2 solo classics/near classics and prominent features/credits on an undeniable classic and signed the next biggest act directly after him I can see how it was the perfect storm. Of course the trailer park gonna rock with him even harder but we lying if we saying he wasn't considered a monster 98-03 in all circles

Classics where? Dude's discography aged like milk. He has no iconic beats, s***ty subject matter, and we can even throw in the fact that most of his beefs were with f***ing pop stars. If you f*** with Marshall by all means go ahead, but don't try to rewrite history saying that he has classics. None of his albums are on par with actual classics like Illmatic, Supreme Clientele, Doogystyle, The Infamous, etc.

while the slaughterhouse album was a disappointment, the opening track (Our House) is exactly the vibe the whole project should have had. em's verse on it isn't that great but that hook is so classic.
