@Valentine can u think of an old trend/method everyone swore by on the forum back then that's dated or abandoned today?

    for sure.
the fact that kids even say "cortisol spike" as a punchline nowadays even has me like oh damn i didnt even know what cortisol was back then 💀

Me and the homie used to lift for like 2-3 hours, go eat burgers, get ice cream from Dairy Queen, take a nap, then spend the rest of the time outside doing cardio, watching UFC, throwing the football or shadow boxing

we look better than 99% of people in the gym

why I don’t trust any of this s*** outside of: lift heavy weight

probably the 2-3 hour lifts to get all your work in lmfaoooo and definitely creatine. that was like the MAJOR buzzword

you can break that down into shorter sessions and get the same results and just eat real food and drink water

creatine back in my uni days was scary. it was sort of a big deal if i found out my friend was taking it for gym

now with more research its so normalized and encouraged i find that pretty cool.

I think cause there was a famous death incident back then when someone severely misused it , might be wrong tho

  • nvm actually that death mightve been from hydroxicut!

"in 2009, the U.S. Food and D*** Administration (FDA) issued a warning and forced a major recall of 14 Hydroxycut weight-loss supplements after they were linked to 23 cases of severe liver damage, liver transplants, and one confirmed death due to liver failure."

it was either that or strong lifts

remember we used to roast the strong lifters cause some of our homies would come to the gym for literally like 30 minutes to strong lift. little did I know this is just another method to the madness you can utilize alongside your own routine to simply get stronger. part of why I love this fitness s*** cause it’s so many new lifters who are swole who don’t know s***

Nope as long as you drink enough water.

Creatine naturally increases creatinine levels (Kidneys) So by drinking enough water on the daily, you 're just fine.

And naturally you're encouraged to drink more water when putting in creatine since it makes you absorb it more into the muscles making em look fuller,
