Bicep curls…. Not using momentum to move them…. Is a meme right?
slow and controlled with a squeeze >>> feels better and gives a way better pump than swinging s***
focusing on a slow controlled eccentric with strict form will do 10x more for your biceps than having weak form doing cheat curls, momentum involves shoulders too much. momentum isn't all bad but curls are something that really benefit from it the least

Got you and I follow. I do isometric bicep curls and slow down on release
Maybe I need to put my reps down when using heavierweights

Thank you!!

you're already there bro keep going! I only harp on this because I benefitted directly from changing my form/elbow placement and slowing down, for years my curl weight/biceps kinda plateaued but it didn't start going up until I really honed in on my form and eccentric and removed the sloppiness that it's easy to have when you're pumped doing curls. it seems backwards to do both less & slower at first but you really benefit from it way more, and now I do 6-8 reps of strict form with 40/45s iso

Been doing some variation of the jawns in this video...
Did upper this morning
Tempted to do legs after work
Instead of in the morning - where I can do upper again
How habits are formed or broken…

Do you use the machine assistance?

thanks man
but it's honestly easy to get there by dialing it in, form can really bring you up 10 lbs on your curl atleast it did for me. and that's with dbs but I do love preachers and rope/machine curls like the ones lord alfredo posted. something that really helped my form quickly was doing 21s with a barbell or ez curl at a lower weight until you burn out, that s*** instantly forces you to lock in your form
