take a deload week man. you reinforce your motor pathways by still going to the gym as opposed to taking a week off. also, you promote recovery by lifting such suboptimal weight.

you still could take a week off if you want though but, there is merit in still going to the gym

i fell into a diet by accident actually. i was cooking and eating what i want for 6 months. all i did was cut salt and no-added sugar.

then ppl around me noticed i lost weight. i couldnt tell. so i took a selfie and looked at old photos and was shocked. i thought u had to work out to lose weight.

so that motivated me to start dieting fr fr. i first started counting calories. to see what was actually making me lose weight or gain weight. i corrected all my recipes & everything in my kitchen cabinet.

did that for about 2 months until i knew the calories of every food by heart.

& then i stopped counting calories and followed a low-fat diet for like 6 months. i didnt even cook with oil anymore. non-stick pans are MVP

& eventually i wasnt afraid of fat anymore and switched to a moderate/ low carb diet. introduced fat back into my diet slowly for 2 months

& now im fully committed to a Clean Keto diet. zero processed food, no dairy, no artificial sweeteners, high omega 3, low omega 6, no gluten... just matcha tea & nutritional yeast. the whole shebang
