@allinasecond I'd recc both yall cancel and build a habit of working out at home before going back to the gym.
Getting a membership before the habit is kind of like putting the cart before the horse.
If you have a place to do pullups you can really do so much at home.

Yea I feel big brained that I at least got some 20lb dbs back in February. Have some resistance bands as well that are pretty decent. Ab-wheel too. And some olympic rings. Plenty to make you sore as s*** as long as you put the work in. It's hard for me to say anyone really "needs" any equipment when I know just how deep calisthenics and bodyweight workouts go. They get incredibly difficult.

yeah tbf I've always had this bias against home workouts, and I think I need to change that lol
I'm just a lover for heavy weights and find it hard to do anything useful at home, but I think I'll start with getting a bar

Tbh w/ a full time job and investments in your gym overtime you can have a pretty sweet set up w/o being rich
& yeah it looks like you can get a bigger stretch as opposed to a barbell = more gainz
Is it possible to get fit in a year? I’ve put on a lot of weight on during this pandemic. I plan to marry my gf in 2022 summer and I want to get my body right before then
I’m currently 288
6”1.5
And I haven’t worked out in atleast 2 years. Can anyone stair me in the direction I need to go or Atleast a program that I can buy that also includes nutrition?
I want to lose weight but I also want to put on muscle. If those can’t be don’t stop the same time. I wasn’t to lose weight first and then put on some good muscular weight.

TDE Calculator

Since you are considered acutely overweight I suggest eating at 1lb weight loss per week. If you're brave enough 2lbs a week could work, but once you're no longer obese you have to go to 1lb a week.
The there's the program
You can do fierce 5 novice routine or The Bridge by Barbell Medicine if you're not a beginner lifter
