also hanging helped fix my shoulder pain
literally just dead hanging, relaxing your whole body
i try to do it for a minute a day - feels good after
Shoulder joints been f***ed for damn near a week
I need to do a proper warm up before working out man
Real talk, if there is one thing I warm up before anything its my shoulders. I'm double jointed and used to get hurt in my right shoulder all the time.
I warm them mfs up EVERYTIME because it dont take much for them to feel wrong
Goals
Thanks. If my legs could catch up or at least get a similar pump thatd be awesome
😅
Need advice, should I stick with what ppl call the “bro-split” which is chest/tris, back bi, legs/abs, shoulders/arms, chest/back, legs (my current routine)
Or do push/pull/legs?
Also do yall believe in the not eating tomatoes/apples/kale cause they got pesticides
Been watching these gyms bros and seems like too much

If u worried abt pesticides n s*** eat organic. sometimes it aint that much more expensive. I think they trippin tho. I would only switch to ppl if you run it 6 days a week, otherwise you're getting more volume/frequency from your current split.

Any of y’all follow a workout plan to losing fat and gaining muscle?
Unlikely, unless you're completely untrained or you're on gear.

You can still gain muscle in a deficit. The rate at which depends on how new you are to training and also how much body fat you have. If you’re above something like 10% especially 15+ you can definitely gain muscle in a deficit given good enough stimuli(training). The lower your BF though the harder this is going to be to achieve.
And the newer you are to training the easier this is as well

the pesticides explanation is interesting, i remember seeing the dirty dozen poster at my gfs house, her parents are into that stuff and it was interesting to see
from a training perspective I'm surprised they didn't talk about avoiding foods that cause inflammation, I would've thought that'd be more of a concern for recovery
just maintaining like a boss rn, keep getting leaner which is cool
I feel like I have to get into the big 5 lifts though, not even for gains but just for the functionality and to establish a strong core
cardio wise my fitness is great rn but feel like I'd like to be stronger ngl

Thanks. I wish I looked like that all the time lmao
added weighted dips to my bench progress. Hoping to get back to Benching 225lbs by May.
Ultimate goal is 315lbs.
My studies the last 5 months have completely derailed my one year process 😐
Don’t fret I’ve been going to the gym for half a decade now but because of studies and COVID I’m still a beginner
Still changed my life in a way I will never be able to quantify, once everything’s in order the gains will come but the journey’s been great so far
