I’ve never understood why goalkeepers put on outfield shirts for the trophy lift
like why is Raya there in a red shirt with his gloves on
lowkey afraid Sunderland might get relegated next season though…. that second season is often the toughest + the combination with european football is gonna be exhausting. they do have quite a wide range of choices in the squad tho tbf so maybe i’m just yappin.
Arsenal or United win the league, Forest, Hull and Ipswich go down

ngl I don’t see United winning the league unless they do some really great business this summer…. they gonna have UCL next season as well so that’s a different story than having to play a game of football every one or even two weeks…. anything can happen if they sort the midfield out & bolster the squad appropriately but so far with the squad they have as of now I’m a doubter, especially with the bigger load of games. definitely a strong top 3 contender still though, think they will put up a fight & challenge for the title at least for more than a decent portion of the season.
honestly don’t see why Arsenal shouldn’t go back to back unfortunately…. unless, Maresca takes on Pep’s foundation & principles just like Slot did first season & wins it all - the base/foundation is already there let’s be real & it’s not like they need to undergo any heavy squad transformation unlike Liverpool
my early hot take is Chelsea top 2, definitely wouldn’t count them out. but only if BlueCo take their heads out of their asses which is highly improbable. if they do though & let Xabi do his job then anything is possible. just look at what Xabi did in his first full season at Bayer (& his start to Madrid job was by no means bad either). no european football will play a huge role so there will be pretty much a sole focus, just like for United this season which worked out well in the end - Chelsea might, unlike United, have a capable coach since the start of the season. and to be fair the Chelsea squad is already pretty stacked (perhaps too much), the foundation is already there. just get a proper keeper finally (still don’t get how they gave up on pursuing Maignan so easily) & perhaps a proper striker (Joao Pedro is cooking but Delap & Jackson need to go and a different archetype/alternative to Pedro is needed). Some bolstering & more experience in the defense could definitely help as well, at least one CB. and if Enzo really leaves then will have to sort out his replacament yeah.

Chelsea could go down if they can’t sort the finances out tbh

I’m pretty sure they were still top 5 when Maresca left, hard to take the rest of their season with any relevance lol. the material is there, Maresca knew how to unlock it a lot of the times but they were just too inconsistent. think they could benefit greatly from having just a sole focus on the league without any mid-week distractions.

It's more likely they're just s***e as the reason they started losing this much but who knows
this is insane man

Really don't understand some of the reactions to this tbh, putting tribalism to the side
It's not like they have anything resembling a dependable spanish core in Madrid. Huijsen is the only "controversial" name to drop. And even then Madridistas themselves weren't exactly raving about him during the season?
someone interesting relegations this season between this, west ham & girona…. hopefully nice go down too, ASSE my favorite french club

Paderborn did it and kicked Wolfsburg out of Bundesliga in the playoffs
