MSFT pushing dynamics super hard right now. need to get myself up to speed in that realm
I have about 3 years experience as IT support (they call me an engineer to spice it up) and make 70-75k but Iโm looking to push to 90k. Iโm getting rejected everywhere , considering the job market would you guys say its even possible? Iโm applying for junior cloud engineer and system admin positions?
I have no certs
get your azure certs.
I'm looking to get my systems admin cert next.

do you plan on getting the cert?
do you plan on getting the cert?
yea i been slacking badly but i work for a msft focused msp on the sales side. so yes i need to but also yes iโll prolly continue being complacent
if you speed yourself up in Azure/AWS i see no reason why you couldnโt command that salary
that is definitely my next steps. just gonna look where to start studying

my cousin is in sales as well at Microsoft. He makes good money doing it.
Great gig.
I believe he got his BI cert and a couple of fundamental ones as well.

az900 is a great start.
go on incognito and you should be able to get the course for a dirt cheap price.
Gotta trudge through the CPA first this year but wanna start studying for the CISA/actual IT certs so bad
Just passed the CCNA, bros Throughout the whole test I was so certain that I was failing but I did iiiiiiiiiiitttt

That's interesting, I've actually already taken this course but might run through it again real quick for a refresher. Are you affiliated with TCM?

It was great. It's actually one of the reasons I sought out taking the CCNA because I wanted to have a clearer understanding of networking before diving further into the cybersecurity field. I'm browsing through it right now and it seems a bit different from the one I've taken. Some sections are the same but the one I took focused more on hack-the-box type scenarios whereas this one has a lot of focus on Active Directory hacking. I don't know anything about Active Directory so this'll be useful
OH S***! Congrats!

Thanks man. So grateful for the Boson Practice Exams and Jeremy's IT Lab
clients got cooked with a simulated phishing campaign and refuse to believe the results lol

I got like 1.5years of IT experience in a helpdesk/technical support role and now im studying for the Network+
Im looking to become a linux/sys admin and was thinking my pathway would be
Network+
Linux+ (or equivalent)
And then maybe a cloud cert but im not too sure after Linux so if anyones got experience or better suggestions lmk
Just a heads up, there's a Linux Essentials cert from the Linux Professional Institute you can take for $120: lpi.org/our-certifications/linux-essentials-overview
That's way less than you'd spend taking L+ at COMPTIA. I'd give that a brief once over before just so you're aware of your options.
Also, don't want to assume what you do/do not know about Linux, so I'll just put this out here for anyone who comes across this comment:

Ultimate goal is to become a pen tester, but want to try and take a shot at applying for entry level network admin work to get more experience
