i honestly understand this critique. There are moments on this project where i cant help but think of other artists

but the thing is, this is so early in his career. Look at guys like travis, tyler etc for example; they wore their influences on their sleeve to begin with, and over time they grew and developed their sound into something that is unique to them

the fact that this is his first album and second body of work is truly something incredible imo, and i think these grievances look very minor with that context
