It was terrible

I do remember laughing out loud in my theater when he killed that dude and the LP was squealing and s*** and people looked at me like I was out of my mind.

Objectively, it was hilarious.

Great movie but hardly had anything to do with Batman

Will probably rewatch it soon tbh, the perfect October movie

It is, I don’t have it on my October list sadly. I watched The Batman around Halloween last year since it came out that March.

Causing Batman to exist is not enough?

I never liked the scorsese comparisons being made with this movie. It’s so obvious that ideologically, this film is touching on something so distinct from Scorsese as a filmmaker. It’s telling how this movie kinda foreshadowed where our culture has gone. It’s not just a movie about rebelling against the system but it’s rebelling against how we’re told to act, to speak, to be. And it’s fitting it’s coming from a comic book character. It’s so fitting that everybody accepts this s***ty ass world the way it is where we have to laugh at the same things, accept s*** medication or lack there of, accept poverty, accept being “lesser” because of our class or our lack of wealth, accept idolizing the people were told to idolize and hate the people were told to hate, all until a guy in a clown outfit tells us to not do that. That’s our society today where we can’t get any thought out unless it’s being uttered by something recognizable or a brand.

Hate it or love it, this is the movie that defines our generation

I'll never get over this film succeeding at the box office regardless of the "critics" begging everyone not to go watch an "loser manifesto"

How anyone can take a film critic serious after this fiasco and Sound of Freedom is beyond me...
