Relistening to AMHAC, I feel like it wasn’t his lyrics that fell off that much it was his flow and melodies.
It used to feel like he’d rap or sing specifically for a beat and exist in it perfectly where as now it feels like he just raps over a beat real quick and calls it a day
Which is interesting because I remember in those reaction videos he made leading up to that album, he said he made all the production first and the challenge was finding a way to rap on it
Still enjoying the project tho, I’d put it #3 under Veteran and AMHAC
Need to step up the production on my project after hearing this lol
S*** makes me never wanna make music again
Vulgar Display of Power is an example of a song where he fit well on it even tho he wasn’t rapping anything crazy
As a Lupe and Kendrick stan I like Jpegmafia's rapping for the most part and he does have songs where I felt like he kilt the verse. 🤷🏽♂️
Y'all just overly critical of his raps but don't be critical of the other niggas yall listen to that be worst at rapping and writing.
What verses from his last 3 albums (including STH) do you think he killed?
The only songs I don't like is "I Scream TITMBIIWA" and "It's Dark AHIH"
Anyway the production on this album is amazing.
And yes the mixing on the single version of SIN MEIDO is better than the album ver. It has more bite.

I'm get back to you in a min as I'm currently on my 3rd listen of the new album and don't wanna interrupt it by going through older songs and I'm finna leave to run errands.
Cornballs still my favorite from him & imo his best but this s*** incredible. was gonna not go see him live again but the energy on this album can only be let out in the pit
Vulgar display of power tho
this and the intro might be the hardest s*** on the project
that f***ing riff on the intro
Huh, who that runnin' they trap?
Bro, you ain't built like that

straight ridiculous
never really went to peggy for his bars but for his delivery & energy when he raps & i think he did that very well on here

His process seemingly changed to put ideas across, it's thematic s*** coming before production. It is so difficult to balance the two so I get it, I really like the new project it's polarising how personal it is for a peggy project
His rapping isn’t nearly as bad as yall making it out to be and this album is way more personal than his last few albums it’s just that mainstream rapping in general isn’t as lyrics heavy as 2 decades ago and the sooner we accept that the less critical we gon be of people like jpegmafia and travis scott
Never had any issue with his raps tbh, they work well over his unorthodox production.

Niggas would kill for his delivery & energy fr
