Twice recently did Korean comeback and they will release Japanese single in November, and the difference in outfits and style gave me an idea, what if they did a music video with computer graphics where they meet themselfs but from japanese come back.
Has any kpop group done it already? Оr am I the frist one to come up with this idea?

lmao I have to pretend to not be as keen as my sister but for the last week it's all I've listened to. the bops are catchy and make you feel good so it's a nice contrast for me who is sick of hiphop/rap in general

but I'm also interested in the backstage stuff, it's fascinating honestly like the whole ecosystem of kpop is interesting and how there's so many different stakeholders and how meticulous everything is.

I just really enjoy the sound of beautiful singing in general and Loona (my favorite group) basically specializes in that so I enjoy everything they do.

The culture of Kpop is definitely pretty fascinating. When I was brand new to Kpop I definitely was looking at all sorts of videos for Kpop in general because its pretty different.

So have people just given up on CL? The two songs she dropped are both great. I guess I like them more than other people because she is how I got into Kpop.

yeah she's pretty much a has been at this point, she could've been a lot bigger as a soloist if she focussed on the domestic market (SK) but she didn't, even after 2ne1 disbanded, instead focussing way too heavily on the Western market, even now she continues to push West for whatever reason. She releases music super inconsistently as well.

she could take some cues from Jessi who's now doing extremely well in SK but idek if that's possible at this point, her time may have passed.

It was not her fault. YG keep her in the dungeon until her contract was up and focused on Blackpink. That lifted song (which was horrible) charted on the hot 100. If she was able to release music she would be doing much better right now.

like i always refer to this s*** but only because it's a pretty well serving example: back in 2017 i think, im with my gf who is wearing a big bang shirt. this girl notices the shirt and tells her friend who is wearing an Army (bts) shirt, "omg look", and the friend looks at my gf's shirt and just has a blank/confused reaction. the friend is like "..it's big bang.....you dont know them?" and the girl replies that she doesn't.

to think, this this not that far from when big bang went away, and tbh, that girl would kinda be considered hella old army now compared to majority of the fandom. but it goes to show how much can change in such little time, and how necessary it is to be present, even if you were/are great.

overall cl is just a sad story. her debut was always "coming soon", and i remember one day i realized that years had already passed, and that realization happened years ago. so thats another factor in that even for those that knew of her from when she was on top, it's hard to hold on to that. like i just watched this vid right now to remind myself

i was in awe when it came out and before that viewing right now, i had really forgotten how it felt to hold her in such high regard. of course, the cheap songs released in the interim kinda didn't help her stay on the pedestal, but surprisingly, i think a majority of her fans still look at the songs favorably (even me...like,..fuck it, some of the songs still goooo)

in the end, i really hope she can find success even with of kpops current fans. i really haven't been following closely but i always see her and dpr dudes in each other's feeds so i'm hoping those guys can provide a positive influence as well.
