Imagine if Rose released Solo with this beat
I think people would've gone crazy. I listen to KTSE and wow, it would've been so cool to get BP on this type of production or on Kanye's production.
didn't love it at first tbh but that chorus is like crack now
Chorus and bridge are godly
Lucky and Butterfly are cute too
praying they beat refund sisters record

"Cube Entertainment also released a statement on March 19:
Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.
This is our agency’s final statement on the matter of (G)I-DLE’s Soojin’s school life.
On March 19, we filed criminal complaints against the spreaders of false rumors and malicious commenters, including the first accuser, at the Gangnam Police Station.
We have handed over all the evidence that the agency had collected about these false claims. Through a strict investigation, we believe that the truth will be revealed. We will also be pursuing civil lawsuits without lenience in order to make these people take responsibility for the damages they have inflicted.
We intend to continue taking strong legal action against the spread of false rumors and personal attacks with malicious intent."
(posting bcuz it's a very long statement that I find to be important and ppl have trouble clicking on articles for some reason)

@Haseul just wanted to send a thank you for always keeping the thread updated.
bbeen thinking about this a lot lately
i havent really spoken out about this s*** in my avenues online cause... i feel like im preaching to the choir more or less, so in that case, it may come off like i'm really just speaking to hear myself speak
but then some say it's a disservice to be such an adamant fan of asian culture and be silent regardless, even if you know the audience already knows
plus u never know when a non choir member might come across and read yr s*** and spark something they didnt think about before or in a new context
so:
its heartbreaking to see all the s*** that has happened lately. i think here in United states at least, society condenses asian culture into styrofoam boxed takeout and chop sticks. there is a huge disrespect that we have accepted as normality without even realizing it. its like when you are at an asian restaurant from one country, and expect a dish from another country to be available. and what's worse is often they DO have that other dish available because its an accepted reality.
i think i first realized the accepted belittling of asian culture in the west via jackie chan films. i think its when he released some movie w jennifer love hewitt or something. i actually havent watched it but im preetttty sure the characters of jennifer and jackie are not an item in the movie. so then i thought "how is that jackie in his US films never "gets the girl" even tho he's the lead protagonist in an action film?" even vin disiel (as some dude named f***ing xander??? )in xxx smashes some girl in the movie for no reason. (off the top of my head thats the least f***able action hero protagonist i could think of....oop, just thought of nic cage gone in 60 seconds. even he gets with angelina jolie in that movie)
anyway, the point being that there are these unwritten laws that have been followed, and majority of people don't even take a second to question how f***ed they are. and through the years, the disappointment has grown more as you hear a society s*** on an entire universe of other cultures that the society takes from endlessly to make itself feel like it's accomplished something. the music, the movies, the toys, video games, food, fashion, hobbies, just an endless supply of amazing ideas and perspectives that we consider god level but take from, and often b******ize to make something we consider original and worth applauding.
in the end, it's not surprising. here in this country, our whole history is taking s*** from other people, and refusing to admit we did that.
i guess it's not even about giving credit, but just treating people with f***ing decency because they're human. it's depressing but i guess my thought process naturally goes to "if someone can take note of how much value someone is to them, then perhaps they can be convinced respect them". it shows how f***ed we are that we have to resort to that way of thinking just to try to convince someone to not treat another group of human beings they know nothing about like s***.
within the last 5 years, practically every race and ethnicity being degraded on has been front page news (the wall, the caravans, the muslim ban, the continued refusal of black ppl, and now this anti asian s***). this way of thinking is a f***ing cancer, and its only a matter of time until you are targeted for being different in a way monsters don't accept.
what can we do? well, chances are youve clicked past a thousand posts on ig stories about things you can do. so reread some of those posts. and if you haven't seen that, then that's a huge sign you need to reconsider what youre limiting yourself to on your day to day intake.
but if you really just find yourself really that isolated, google stop aapi hate, and click the first couple links you see. but truthfully, the first best step might be accepting the reality that you yourself are unwittingly complicit in dismissing people of other cultures and races, and taking time to think about how you might be doing this. no one is perfect, but if we can just admit that to ourselves, then maybe we might move a millimeter in the right direction.
(a lot of the "you"s in this above paragraphs are directed to the 'general reader', not YOU specifically reading this. but if YOU do feel the shoe fits, then yes, it's addressed to YOU)

What Kibum said was super comforting to know, it really resonated with me. I feel a similar way, he was both an amazing artist & person who brought joy to many and I hope, while of course still giving room for grieving, we can voice our appreciation of that without needing to mention his passing, looking back on his life with constant bleakness, as Jonghyun is so much more than the tragedy he suffered through.
