new bts will be in english
a good song is a good song
i heard dynamite the other day for the first time in a long time and it hit me again how great of a song it is, even with ....fuck it, abysmalllllllllllllllllll lyrics
its not the point, but i cant help thinking it would be better otherwise you know?
anyway i'm just hoping i like it, it's all that matters in the end anyway
Just recently got into LOONA and i am really blown away how good they are musically. Their producers/composers are genius
Their B-Sides are fire

real, although their recent title tracks have been somewhat lacking the b-sides have kept up the quality of the previous releases imo! (That being very high)
Izone officially disbanding in a couple of days, don’t know how to feel about it all tbh.
Adore the group, they quickly became one of my favourite girl groups ever, though at the same time, I feel like it wouldn’t be right nor make sense for them to continue considering the rigging controversy (they’re honestly lucky they got to live out their full contract, keeping in mind what happened to X1), also I’d be lying if I said there isn’t still some bitterness I feel about Chowon and especially Kaeun being robbed of debuting. The disbandment, while expected, felt very strange/messy in how it was handled, no warning of one reeler being the final comeback and a month of inactivity prior to the official day of disbanding.
A lot of actions from Wizones in this final month have left me disconnected and disappointed in the fandom as a whole and to some extent, even the group itself, they’ve made this whole disbandment a lot worse. I will say that I wish the girls themselves the best in their future groups/solo activities, of which I’m looking forward to.
Yukika’s newest EP release brought me to finally dive into kpop, a little overwhelmed with all the groups and solo projects out there but I’ve also loved most of everything I’ve come across. Red Velvet and Loona are my favs just bc I was already familiar w them, but I recently heard Bibi, Dreamcatcher, Ladies’ Code, n so much more. I was listening to CLC for the first time earlier today and plan to check out Yerin Baek and Cherry Bullet + Stellar later

This is another group I want to check out, too bad they are ending

definitely still check them out! Fiesta was my personal kpop soty last year, avoid their Japenese releases though (aside from Suki to Iwasetai)
your list of groups to check out seems quite full already but based on your tastes I'd also personally recc Gwsn & Wjsn if you haven't checked them out already.

Yeah I added WJSN’s Unnatural ep to my playlist a couple days ago and quite like it, but appreciate the GWSN rec 🤙🏾

Yeah she’s Jeongyeon from Twice.
Since you’re getting started it’s a lot to take in so I hope you enjoy the different groups available at your own pace. As long as you have an open mind it will be fun.
I also love Yukika’s stuff so glad to see she got you into the idea of looking at more artists.

Do you have a favorite Twice song / release / music video? I don’t usually watch MVs, but I like seeing the kpop group ones to see what the group chemistry is like. The Chuu Heart Attack one is one of my favs

What is Love gives a good idea of Twice overall but their concept has evolved over time so their sound is much different now.
Say Something (no M/V but BSide) is similar to Yukika if you’re looking for more City Pop vibes.

Damn I thought you were a big fan this whole time
Nice to see you going deeper tho
What is love is the peak of Twice. Special moment. Likey to Heartshaker to What is Love was iconic
Perfect stages, perfect visuals (Jihyo finally got the respect she deserves), perfect songs. What a vibe man
