Her voice
finally got into twice
saw their name came up so much that I tried listening every time one of their videos came up on recommended but it always sounded like what I thought of kpop before I got into it ie made for preteen girls. finally heard I Cant Stop Me and loved it so now ive heard that album and the ep with alcohol free. album is fire top to bottom but why is alcohol free the single when its arguably the worst song on the ep

Dope! Yeah the AF criticism was common at the time of release, it felt too flat for some Once’s as the title track. I liked it personally but can see why as a TT it could be underwhelming, didn’t really follow the conventional KPop formula (song structure wise) and relied too much on the instrumental and did nothing with the vocals and layering to make it interesting. Which BSide would you have made the TT instead? Curious to see 👀 most people wanted Baby Blue Love
And with Twice I love them but I don’t think I would’ve got into them if I checked out their music in chronological order. I worked my way backwards and was surprised how versatile they are. You’re in store for some classics if you keep checking them out. This isn’t to say their earlier stuff is bad, in fact they made their name with that. It’s just easier to digest if you move backwards.

first time and scandal are my favorites but bbl would be a great single
So looks like Rbw is sabotaging Mamamoo and their other groups to try to grow their company before the girls leave 😢
just saw solar bought a building for a cool 4 million US dollars
Would yall consider Yerin Baek to be kpop? I feel like she's more pop soul but idk where else I could post about her here with traction... I listened to her Every letter I sent you. album the other day and fell immediately in love
Also random but I feel like HaSeul and HyunJin have glown up the most in LOONA, but maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention before

Kpop = idol music, so no, Yerin Baek isn't kpop (she does make great music though).
Doesn't matter much tho as this is a general Korean music thread (kpop & other k-entities) so
